Torrevieja

This cosmopolitan town has become a firm favourite and many residents and non-residents choose to buy their home here.

Torrevieja has a little bit of everything. It has its own blue flag beaches, night life, history, tradition and there is so much to do. Habaneras shopping centre, the Ocio leisure center and the Sports city are just three of the major attractions that Torrevieja boasts.

But it’s not a concrete jungle. There are many natural features such as the lagunas and La Mata natural park, that make this a city that never fails to surprise. It might have a large international community but it’s also still a very Spanish town too.

Originally a fishing village, it grew to owe much of its wealth and development to the salt that is produced here. The casino, salt museum and Las Salinas are witness to its roots.

If you should want a change, and we can’t imagine why you should, up the road you can find the blue flag beaches of Orihuela Costa and three golf courses.

Of course, Torrevieja also has one of its own. With major road networks on its doorstep and situated within 45 minutes of two international airports, this really is one Spanish property location you just can’t ignore.
